Used to connect two pieces of chain or to connect a fitting to chain. Assembly requires fitting the body rivets of one half into the openings of the other half and then peening the rivets to lock the halves together. Industry standards recommend using one size larger than the chain being joined. Used with chain of equal or lower working load limit. They are easy to install and are hot-dipped galvanized for durability and excellent corrosion resistance.
